Writers Guild Kenya
Our lives, our cultures, are composed of many overlapping stories. Growing up as a young girl in Marsabit County, Munira Hussein, did not imagine that one day she would be know for her writing; in fact, she did not think of it as a possibility. When Writers Guild Kenya met Munira Hussein in 2014, they believed in her story but didn’t know how to visualize it until we met. Today, Munira has a story to tell.
Project 101
Welcome to Liberia. Liberia was established in 1847 by freed slaves from the U.S. and Caribbean along with indigenous Africans.  After 2 civil wars and the Ebola Crisis, Liberia is making a strong comeback even in its region. In 2017, the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Liberia hosted a regional Youth Congress involving growing men and women from across 32 countries in West and Central Africa. As a host Director, this was how I could welcome the delegates.
